Hiking

My wife and I hiked the Y today.  The Y is a letter on the mountain just east of BYU campus.  40 14'49.11" N 111 37'22.40" W. My wife is 7.5 months pregnant.  I carried our son in a hiking pack that some members of our church lent us.  It was a very nice pack, and I was able to put all of the weight on my hips.  My pack was about 30 pounds, while my wife's was about 15 pounds of water.  For some reason people were more impressed by her hiking than they were by me carrying our son. Today shows that God really does take care of us. Work Party

0 min read
Tonight's dinner was really easy to fix.  We had a work party.  They expected 20 adults and 20 kids.  I think they ended up with about 3/4 of that.  I really get along with the guys I work with. They had steak for the adults and hotdogs for the kids.  Really cheap steak...Filet Mignon...  Yeah, not so cheap, but if work is paying for it, I'll eat it. We had it at the park just south of town.  My son really enjoyed the slide and swings.  My wife, she enjoyed the filet mignon.  All in all, it was a blast.
